At Chardan, we feel profoundly grateful for what we have—for the opportunity to do the work we love, and to be in a position to give back to our community. Through our annual Commissions for Charity Day and ongoing financial support of community, charitable, and humanitarian organizations, we look to share our good fortune with our neighbors both locally and globally.
Last year, by choosing to place their trades with us on our annual Commissions for Charity Day, Chardan clients helped raise funds in support of three organizations.
In coordination with the Kunming government and with a local Kunming television station, Chardan funded the construction of an elementary school in an under developed area of rural Yunnan province that had been devastated by powerful earthquakes.
The Baby Alex Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the neurological health of babies and children. The foundation raises funds to support the research, prevention, and treatment of pediatric brain injury.
Voices of Rwanda is dedicated to filming the testimonies of Rwandan genocide survivors. By capturing the stories of individual survivors on film, the organization seeks to rally global human rights support and honor the lives of the nearly 100 million Rwandans systematically murdered over the course of a century.
